The Deaf Hear

Why Miracles? – The deaf hear is the fourth of six signs that Jesus is the Messiah, the expected one. Unlike the first three (blind, lame, and leper), the deaf are not prohibited from entrance to the temple. They represent Israel who are willfully deaf, ignoring the words and works of God.
